Voluntary technical inspection is the inspection carried out on one or more systems of the vehicle at the request of its owner and without any obligation.

Voluntary car technical inspection is performed only on cars that are not overdue for the "periodic technical inspection".

That is, it can be performed on cars that:

• They have a valid Technical Inspection Card
• They are not yet obliged to pass MOT inspection (new)
